Pioneering human body platform takes top honor in health category
BioDigital, developer of the virtual human body platform, the BioDigital Human, announced today that the company won a Webby Award for the category of Website: Health at the 19th Annual Webby Awards. The Webby Awards, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), awards the most deserving Internet-based companies with “Webbys,” which are hailed as the “Internet’s highest honor,” as per The New York Times. Webbys are considered the leading international awards honoring excellence on the Internet.

Likened to Google Earth for the human body, this interactive product uses innovative 3D technology to explain medical conditions and concepts.
